题目：The Formation of Bilateral Trade Agreements in a North-South Model

摘要：This paper first formulates a general n-country tariff game in normal form based on the Cournot model, it then studies the formation of two-country free trade agreements (FTAs) in a North-South model. Both symmetric FTAs between countries of the same type and asymmetric FTAs between countries of different types are investigated.

 

主讲人简介：赵进钢教授本科毕业于北京航天航空大学数学与系统科学学院(77级)、硕士毕业于中国人民大学数量经济学专业(81级)、博士毕业于耶鲁大学经济系(92年)，现任加拿大萨省大学经济学终身教授。他在博弈论、产业组织等领域取得多项创建性成果，所创建的分合解 (hybrid solution，Games and Economic Behavior 1992) 包含了纳什均衡和合作解为两个特例，是分析联盟稳定性以及“分久必合，合久必分”规律等博弈问题的必需工具，2000年美国经济学会的期刊(Journal of Economic Perspective)因此预测分合博弈(hybrid games)将与网络博弈(network game)、信息经济学（information economics)一起成为21世纪微观经济理论的三大前沿课题。赵进钢教授也是最先提出非空核(nonempty core)为企业兼并先决条件的学者，使非空核成为研究企业兼并等合作行为的两大基石(Theory and Decision 2009)之一。
