一、工作职责：

B.北京大学中国经济研究中心“中国养老与健康追踪调查”项目招聘4名省队负责人，浙江和甘肃各两位

项目简介：“中国养老与健康追踪调查”将在全国范围内调查45岁及以上年龄的居民的健康和养老状况，为中国老龄化问题的学术研究提供基础性的数据，试调查将于2008年在浙江和甘肃两省进行。

工作内容：项目计划在2008年春节期间进行为期2周的预调查，暂定3-7月进行调查员培训和入户调查，此期间省队负责人应该能够全职为项目工作，其中约有3个半月的时间带领调查队在本省其它地点作实地调查。

一、工作职责：

1、  协助项目负责人在当地招聘调查员；

2、  负责与当地政府机关和村/居委会的沟通、协调，保证调查顺利进行；

3、  负责领导、监督调查员的工作；

4、  负责向项目总部报告调查进展和数据传输。

二、招聘条件：

1、在大学或者其他研究机构从事经济学、社会学或者医学研究；对养老和健康问题感兴趣；有微观数据分析经验者优先；

2、能够跟单位请一个学期的学术假；

3、能够适应农村调查比较艰苦的生活条件；

4、有出色的人际交往能力，组织管理能力，做事严谨认真；

5、讲本省方言者优先。

三、待遇：

工作期间待遇为5000元/月，另有食宿补助，但是工作的回报将主要体现在对数据的优先使用权，以及与国际、国内该领域的顶尖学者共同开展研究工作的机会。

C.北京大学中国经济研究中心“中国养老与健康追踪调查”项目招聘1名计算机程序员兼网络管理员

项目简介：“中国养老与健康追踪调查”将在全国范围内调查45岁及以上年龄的居民的健康和养老状况，为中国老龄化问题的学术研究提供基础性的数据，试调查将于2008年在浙江和甘肃两省进行，计划随后进行全国性的抽样，每两年调查一次。

一、工作职责：

1、熟悉CAPI 和 SMS 系统 (CAPI: Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing, SMS: Sample Management System)

2、对调查员进行CAPI 和 SMS 系统的培训

3、负责管理调查数据从调查地的笔记本电脑到总部的传输；对传输过来的数据进行组织、管理；维护项目网页；管理用户对数据下载的要求。

4、熟悉调查项目的管理；监督样本的选取和实施，并且作进展报告。

二、招聘条件：

1、计算机专业本科或者同等学历

2、了解Delphi, Java, PHP, mySQL, HTML 和 STATA 或者 SPSS

3、了解数据保密规则以建立DSP（Data Safe Guarding）

4、能够熟练用英语交流

三、待遇：

参照北京大学中国经济研究中心相应合同制工作人员的待遇标准。试用期为三个月。试用期后税前工资与福利4000-5000元/月，具体数目依申请人的条件而定。2007年9月开始工作。

D. Position: Survey Manager

Employer:
China Center for Economic Research (CCER) of Peking University is part of Peking University and offers undergraduate double major degree in Economics, MA, Ph.D. degrees in economics and MBA. Website: http://ccer.pku.edu.cn/

General Description of Position:
The China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS, website: http://charls.ccer.edu.cn) is a biennial survey of Chinese households with members 45 years and older. The Survey Manager will support the research team by managing the design, development and execution of the survey and collaborative reports.

Specific responsibilities include:

Co-ordinate survey design 
Create documentations for the survey process, including sampling manual, interviewer manual, etc. 
Recruit and train field staff 
Liaise with local partners and government offices to co-ordinate survey activities 
Monitor and report on data collection when the survey is fielded. Recommend and implement on corrective action to keep to projected plan and targets 
Contribute to the evaluation of survey data 
Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations and codes of practice, and general duty of care
Educational and Professional Requirements:

A graduate or professional degree in the social sciences 
At least 2-3 years of experience at a research or survey organization, including experience managing projects in deadline-driven, process-oriented environments
Favored applicants will have:

Demonstrated extensive experience with household surveys 
Demonstrated superior organizational and people skills 
Demonstrated the superior ability to attend to details 
Experience in empirical research using household survey data and knowledge of statistical techniques 
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English 
Length of Contract: Two year contract starting from Sep. 2007, may be extendable conditional on research funding.

Salary and benefits: 100,000 to 200,000 RMB annually inclusive of social insurance benefits, commensurate with experience. A recent Ph.D. may incorporate the job with a post-doctoral position
