A New Perspective of Banking

Module Description:

In this module Dr Wang examines banking focusing on one of its main functions, namely banks issuing and circulating their liabilities as a means of payment. He will consider its implications on bank liquidity, central banking, and if time allows, banking networks. The most of the materials that will be presented is based on his own research.

 

Lectures and Assessment:

The module will consist of TWELF hours of lectures. Students may complete an essay based on which they are assessed.
