Jin Hongguang

Jin Hongguang has been selected as an Academician at the IET since 2013. He has an extensive research experience in a variety of fields, including integration technology of energy power system, chemical engineering power poly-generation system, environmental friendly energy system, and in the field of energy conversion processes, new energy release processes, complementarities of multi energy resources. He proposed the theories of integrated energy system and synthetically cascaded utilization of chemical energy and physical energy. He also found a new method of totally NOx and CO2 control. His proposal and development of a novel power system gets patents in USA and Japan, "Gas Turbine Power Generation Plant with Chemical-looping Combustion". Among the hundreds of research paper he published, more than ninety were cited by Science Citation Index.
Jin received a master degree from the Institute of Engineering Thermo-physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989 and a doctoral degree from Chemical Engineering Department at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 1994.
IET originated from the Power Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) founded in 1956. At present, it has developed into a research institute combining Dynamic & Electric Engineering and energy science & technology in strategic advanced technology.
