WANG Min

WANG Min is the associate professor at National School of Development, Peking University, and the associate editor of top Chinese economics journal, Economics (Quarterly).  His research areas are environmental and resource economics, energy economics, climate change and macroeconomic development. He has published 20 academic papers, some of which were published in top field economics journal such as Economic Theory, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. Besides the academic research, he is also actively participating in policy research and have written 10 policy reports with some proposed policies accepted by the central and local governments. His policy report on reforming China’s renewable energy subsidy policies was commented and endorsed by the vice prime minister, Gaoli Zhang, and the main policy proposed in the report was eventually announced by relevant ministries, including NRDC and National Energy Administration (NEA).
