题目：Adverse Selection and Income Distribution

摘要：In this paper we study how information frictions infl‡uence income distribution, speci…cally when there is a trade-off between effciency and equity. We show that information frictions increase income inequality through three channels: information rent, output distribution, and transfers. Information rent increases income inequality. The optimal contract induces a less equal output distribution. Less transfers also contribute to income inequality.

主讲人简介：朱胜豪（北京航空天大学 经济管理学院）。北京大学CCER经济学硕士，纽约大学经济学博士，现任教于北京航空天大学经济管理学院，主要研究领域为：宏观经济、收入分配。在Econometrica，Journal of Economic Theory，Macroeconomic Dynamics等国际期刊发表了多篇论文。
