The global economic and international order continues to be in flux. Geopolitical and technological shocks, shifting trade and investment patterns, financial sector developments, rising public debt, and tensions in the Middle East are driving greater uncertainty, risk, and economic costs.

Bringing together economists, international relations scholars, policymakers, and other experts from the US, Europe, and Asia, our upcoming joint conference, "A World in Flux: Finance, Technology, Geopolitics and Global Cooperation", will be held at Peking University from 22–23 July 2026.

This conference is the third in a joint series co-organised with the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia, Harvard Kennedy School, and the National School of Development, Peking University, with the support of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.
