中国农村医疗卫生改革：路在何方？
——世界银行研究报告座谈会

    医疗卫生系统的基本目标是提高人们的健康水平，并提供财务上的保障。按照这个标准，中国的医疗卫生在历史上曾取得了举世瞩目的成绩。但是近期，这两方面的表现都不尽如人意。这次座谈会将报告世界银行即将完成的一个大型研究项目，内容包括：中国医疗卫生领域问题产生的原因，主要分析农村地区；中国可选择的改革方案，涉及卫生筹资、医疗服务供给以及公共卫生。

    此次座谈会是研究项目和相关学者、政府官员和其他各界人士进行沟通和咨询的一次活动。座谈会有中文翻译。

Health Reform in Rural China: Where Next?

The primary goals of any health system are to improve population health and provide financial protection. On these yardsticks, China’s health system has many historical achievements to be proud of. More recently, however, progress on both outcomes has faltered. This presentation starts with an investigation of the reasons for the weaker performance of China''''''''''''''''s health system, focusing especially on rural areas. It then sets out a set of reform options, covering: health financing; health service delivery; and public health. The presentation is based on a large World Bank study that is nearing completion, and is part of an informal consultation exercise with government and other stakeholders.

We will provide consecutive interpretation during the presentation.
